My name is Chip Russell, and I'm a motion graphic designer in Chicago, Illinois. My current focus is on motion graphics for broadcast and online. I've been in the graphic design industry for over 16 years and been fortunate to have worked within different specialties such as branding/logo design, user interface design, packaging, print and most recently video and motion graphics.
I have helped develop the look and feel of some of the world's most visible brands as well as many of the smallest. My understanding of clients needs and most importantly brand concerns allows me a unique insight to any design challenge.
Enthralled with animation from an early age, I studied the history of animation and Walt Disney from the age of nine. Then I got my first computer (an Apple IIc) at the age of twelve. I guess it was destiny that my first two loves are coming together some twenty-eight years later.
